I started traveling when I was very young. My father was a pilot so I had the privilege of flying almost free in my youth. I traveled far and wide, mostly backpacking on a budget.

Then life intervened. Studies, family and children, and a career in technology.

Now I have turned 70 and retired (almost). I am restarting my backpacking life and on these pages I am sharing my experiences. Can I still backpack as I did when I was young? Follow along and see how it is going and what has changed over the years.
